Melinda Fly
With over 17 years of hands-on industry experience, Melinda is the driving force behind Westland Settlement Services. Starting her career in conveyancing at just 16, she’s worked her way up through the ranks, building an exceptional depth of knowledge and an unwavering commitment to her clients along the way.
Melinda is known for her calm, solutions-focused approach and razor-sharp time management and organisational skills. She is passionate about ensuring every settlement runs smoothly and on schedule. She leads the Westland team with a strong belief that no two settlements are the same, and that tailored service and open communication are key to a great client experience.

Alessia joined our team in 2024, and brings over 27 years of conveyancing experience and a vibrant energy to the Westland team. Having worked with some of Perth’s most prominent conveyancing firms, she has built a reputation for being both approachable and results-driven, striking the perfect balance between warmth and precision.
Alessia’s natural attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and calm, client-first approach mean no deadline is ever missed, and her clients feel supported and informed every step of the way. Tara Reilly
Tara joined Westland Settlement Services in July 2023, bringing with her over a decade of experience from one of Perth’s most well-known and respected property developers. Her deep understanding of property processes, combined with her practical, no-fuss approach, made her an instant asset to the team.
Tara’s industry knowledge, organisational skills, and warm nature mean she knows exactly how to keep a settlement on track and clients feeling supported.
When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her planning the next camping getaway in her caravan with her husband and two young girls.

Ryoko Howell
Ryoko is the newest addition to the WSS team, bringing a wealth of experience and a calm, capable approach to even the trickiest of matters.

She first entered the industry in 2017, working in a prominent legal firm before moving to a settlement agency, where she built a strong reputation at a highly regarded WA agency.
After taking a short break to welcome her baby, Ryoko joined the team in mid-2025 and has slotted back into the fast-paced world of settlements with ease.

Known for her love of complex files (like court orders and complex related party dealings) and an eye for detail, Ryoko is also partial to a good chai latte and spends her downtime crocheting up a storm.
